So, apparently I have ignored my Vox since 2006.
I'm pretty good at ignoring things that aren't very important to me. But I should probably try to pay a little more attention to things.
Today has not had even additions in the 'plus' and 'minus' columns. I have mixed feelings about the impending death of my stepmother's sister, Ann. My aunt was not a very nice person when I was a kid, growing up. Like my stepmother at that time, she had some really serious mood swings and PMS problems that made it unpleasant to be around her at certain times. I hated the days I got stuck with her as my babysitter. But we've both mellowed as we got older, and these days, even when I think back to the past, I can't dredge up anger at what's long gone, only regret that things turned out that way, and pity for how she's ended up.
